In Character: Actors Acting @ GALLERY M

When Christopher Lloyd walked into Howard Schatz’s studio, it might have been expected that his performance in front of a still camera could resonate as loud and grand as his film projects before hand. While Lloyd is known for his countless roles including Taxi and Back to the Future, Howard’s vision was to let one, two or three images tell the visual story from great actors. In Character: Actors Acting succeeds in his goal of directing and shooting some of today’s most recognized actors and “character” actors according to his script. Schatz has taken his visual story-telling ability to the next level with each photograph. Lloyd’s performance was to depict a music instructor. Our take: Mozart would have been proud that Lloyd and Howard Schatz so cleverly depict the torment that an instructor might feel at a student’s tumultuous performance on a violin. Each photograph is available as part of a signed edition of 8. Find and reserve your actor today.
